Anti-Racist Education Film Screening
Event Navigation
With funding from the Government of Canada, Brandon University researcher Dr. Michelle Lam and her team have spent two years collecting stories of racism currently happening in the province, and turning those stories into film. The four films highlight anti-Indigenous racism, anti-Black racism, anti-immigrant racism, and Islamophobia.
Please join us at 6:00 p.m., in He Oyate Tawapi (Ceremony Room) in the Health Studies Building and hear a presentation of the research, followed by the four short films.
The screening will be followed by a reception and refreshments.
Registration is limited, however, you are encouraged to invite interested guests to attend via our livestream. Links will be shared on our Facebook and YouTube feeds.
