BU artists and performers at Nuit Blanche

January 13 @ 12:00 pm - 11:59 pm

Event Navigation

The third annual Wheat City Nuit Blanche takes place this Saturday, January 13, and the BU community is invited to experience it.

Downtown Brandon turns into a de facto art gallery from 12pm-6pm, with artists and performers situated within businesses throughout downtown.

Then, the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is transformed from 6:00pm-midnight: an evening of live music, performance, visual art, installation and interactive kiosks for all ages will engulf the studios, hallways, stairwells and hidden corners of the gallery.

With more than 50 artists participating, this year’s event promises to be an extravaganza of unique performance and installation. Brandon University will be well represented, including:

  • BU New Music Ensemble
  • BU Fine Art Student Association
  • BU Chorale & Concert Choir
  • Prof. Peter Morin
  • BU Cello Quintet
  • Prof. Lin Xu
  • Isaac Rohr
  • Prof. Ben Davis
  • Albyn Carias
  • Prof. Dale Lakevold
  • Bryant Wahl-Perrin
  • Ben Lamont
  • Abby Ziprick
