BU Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Wear pink! All are welcome to join a short walk to raise awareness of breast cancer on Thursday at the lunch hour.

Brief speeches will accompany the walk, which is to be less than a kilometre, around campus, starting and finishing in the Kavanagh Courtyard.

The walk is being organized by the BU Breast Cancer Cell & Molecular Research Laboratory (BCCMRL) and the BU research office. The BCCMRL, led by Dr. Mousumi Majumder, aims to develop a highly sensitive blood test capable of spotting breast cancer early in its development.
