Event Navigation
Observation periods are from 9:30-10:30 pm and 10:30-11:30 pm
Our guest presenter is Abdul Mohamed who will present his honors thesis “The Rotation Curve of the Inner Milky Way” during his presentations at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm in the Louis Riel Room
Guests are welcome to bring their own cameras.
It’s best to arrive for your observing period a little early. Please meet us at the Ancillary Service office, on the main floor of McMaster Hall. The closest and easiest entrance is through the glass link between Darrach Hall and Harvest Hall (cafeteria). There is parking in Lot #4, on the 300 block of 20th Street.
Please Note: Weather conditions could prevent observing (eg, Cold, Winds, Snow, Rain, and Lightning). Often times presentations will still be available on these evenings even though access to the roof and observatory will not be possible.
Brandon University is committed to being an accessible institution. To ensure that any event is available to all who are interested in attending, please advise us in advance of any accessibility considerations. Accessibility contact: communications@brandonu.ca
