This internal event is open to Brandon University faculty and staff only, and is not open to the general public.

Some people meet conflict and life’s demands with optimism and elasticity while others become stuck and overwhelmed. This workshop will explore the skills and attitudes resilient people utilize during times of short-term, sustained and chronic stress. Using reflective and interactive exercises, this session will teach self-regulation skills to foster a grounded body, a calm mind and a strong sense of self.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand what contributes to personal resilience
  • Recognize the patterns of reactivity and potential adverse impacts stress
  • Learn self-regulation techniques to survive and thrive during significant compression/change
  • Ground your body
