Con-septs is a largely self-directed septet comprised of both undergraduate and graduate jazz students, coached by Marika Galea. They perform diverse repertoire from historic and contemporary jazz composers including Sam Rivers, Jonathan Scales, Carla Bley, Thelonious Monk, Alice Coltrane, Nelson Faria, Pedro Martins, Bill Richards and Cedar Walton.
