Doors Open Brandon
Event Navigation
Doors Open Brandon is a free weekend of self-guided tours, welcoming the community into heritage buildings and other significant places around the community — including here at Brandon University.
Join us Saturday and Sunday afternoons, July 15 and 16, from 1–5 p.m.
At Brandon University, you’ll be invited into historic Clark Hall, including the former chapel and the Bell tower. Campus grounds feature sprawling green spaces, Indigneous plantings and teachings, public art and sculptures, a rainbow Pride crosswalk, and more for you to explore. Don’t miss a view of the honeybee hives at Bee U, safely visible from behind large glass windows near the Ancillary Services desk of the McMaster Hall complex (upper floor, above the Rural Development Institute).
The John E. Robbins Library at BU is also open Saturday afternoon, including the Curve Gallery, which currently features a heritage display of 100 years of psychiatric nursing education in Manitoba.
