Brandon University is exploring an overhaul of our legacy software systems, including the possibility of moving to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This very large software package would replace much of our custom-built software and would give BU modern tools to run our student records and administrative systems.

This would be a significant transformation, so we are partnering with CampusWorks. They are consultants who have worked with over 100 post-secondary institutions and are noted for both their vendor independence and their high-levels of expertise and experience in the full range of ERP solutions.

We are hosting targeted workshops and open forums with CampusWorks in early February. These workshops will provide the opportunity to learn more about the ERP options, to provide feedback, and to help both our consultants and all of us to better understand the challenges and opportunities in your area.

Student Experience Workshop

This workshop is designed to develop and document a consistent student experience throughout the institution. The student experience vision statement will become the charter for the development of the streamlined and efficient processes, procedures and use of technology.
