Brandon University is exploring an overhaul of our legacy software systems, including the possibility of moving to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This very large software package would replace much of our custom-built software and would give BU modern tools to run our student records and administrative systems.

This would be a significant transformation, so we are partnering with CampusWorks. They are consultants who have worked with over 100 post-secondary institutions and are noted for both their vendor independence and their high-levels of expertise and experience in the full range of ERP solutions.

We are hosting targeted workshops and open forums with CampusWorks in early February. These workshops will provide the opportunity to learn more about the ERP options, to provide feedback, and to help both our consultants and all of us to better understand the challenges and opportunities in your area.

A facilitated discussion on trends and effective practices in Higher Education. This will include a look at the different Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems available in the Higher Education market.

Who should attend

All leadership, departmental and technical staff along with faculty representation.  Everyone who will attend the Student Experience Workshop is encouraged to attend.
