Join us for Family Day, with activities planned for everyone.

Start the morning with a free showing of ‘Despicable Me 2’ in the Evans Theatre. The show starts at 10 a.m. and comes complete with complimentary milk and cereal. The first 100 kids receive a free weekend pass to Bran-Con, western Manitoba’s first annual comic convention, which is being held right next door to BU at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium.

There’s more family-friendly activities all afternoon long. Try making bannock over the fire in the Kavanagh Courtyard, test your mettle with a spooky haunted residence tour at Darrach Hall, join the beading in the Indigenous Peoples’ Centre, and step up to the midway of activities, including Laser Tag, in the Healthy Living Centre’s Henry Champ gym.
