The BU Bobcats men's basketball team is running a camp to celebrate the life of Antoine Sutherland.  

When: Friday, Oct. 13 from 6-8 pm
Where: BU Healthy Living Centre

The two-hour camp invites any youth in grades 7-12, especially those who knew, played with, or competed against Antoine to join for a sport-themed celebration for the young man who tragically passed away last week. The event will focus on skill development, and live game scrimmages.  

The camp will be run by Gil Cheung and members of the BU men's basketball team.

"We can't imagine what Antoine's family is going through right now," says Cheung. "Antoine's circle of friends included the basketball community. Young people gravitate to the HLC to just be kids and hoop. As soon as we heard of this tragedy we wanted to bring the basketball community together and celebrate Antoine."

In lieu of a fee, participants are asked to bring a monetary donation which will be given to Antoine's family.

A GoFundMe has been created for anyone that is not able to attend.
