Media are invited to attend the local launch of the Indigenous Contributions to the Manitoba Economy report, produced by the Rural Development Institute at Brandon University in partnership with the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) and Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO).

Please note: Members of the BU community or others who would like to attend should contact Aimee Coueslan, Engagement Liaison at the Rural Development Institute: CoueslanA@BrandonU.CA

This launch will celebrate the contributions of Indigenous people to the Brandon region as well as the local opportunities that are identified by the report. A brief presentation will feature a number of local speakers, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Light refreshment will be provided.

The full report, which was formally launched earlier this year, is available online at https://www.brandonu.ca/rdi/projects/indigenous-economy/

Brandon University is committed to being an accessible institution. To ensure that any event is available to all who are interested in attending, please advise us in advance of any accessibility considerations. Accessibility contact: communications@brandonu.ca
