ACC and BU are honoured to present Reciprocal Lessons of Supporting Indigenous Student Success in Higher Education.

Hear from educational expert Dr. Michelle Pidgeon as she shares lessons learned from the experiences of supporting Indigenous student success.

From an Indigenous wholistic framework, Dr. Pidgeon challenges institutional norms and provides pathways for transforming policies, programs and practices to better empower Indigenous students throughout their post-secondary journeys.

There is no cost to attend; this event is open to the public.

Dr. Michelle Pidgeon, of Mi’kmaq ancestry from Newfoundland and Labrador, is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in British Columbia. She is the director of the Centre for Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at SFU and editor of the Canadian Journal of Higher Education.
