Red Dress Day – Talk and Reflection

As messaged by the BU Office of Indigenous Initiatives and the Indigenous Peoples’ Centre, the campus community will be recognizing May 5 as Red Dress Day.

Following the gatherings in the BU Courtyard and Princess Park, the campus community and the public are invited to join Brandon Pride and the Brandon Friendship Centre In A Good Way Family Resource Centre in the Library Curve Gallery (second floor) at 4:00 pm for a short talk and reflection on Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People, Red Dress Day, and the Moose Hide Campaign.

Light refreshments will be served.

The Brandon Pride and In a Good Way Family Resource Centre’s have made a banner for Red Dress Day, which will be displayed in the Curve Gallery through the month of May.
