The Wild Responds concert
Event Navigation
Brandon University has partnered with Brandon Riverbank, Inc. and the City of Brandon to bring an evening of music to Festival Park where we will be featuring Rob Knaggs as well as students from the BU School of Music.
Rob Knaggs is from Brisbane, Australia and is an avant-cellist who is fast gaining a reputation for his atmospheric walls of sound and live performances that transport the audience to the northern reaches of his adopted home in the Canadian Sub-Arctic. In the last five years, he has performed concerts for beluga whales and beneath the northern lights and represented Manitoba at travel conferences across North America.
Opening for Rob Knaggs will be a trio from Brandon University, the Aren Teerhuis Group. They will take the stage at 7 p.m., with Rob Knaggs to follow at 8 p.m.
Admission is free. The concert is being sponsored by the City of Brandon, Brandon University, Brandon Riverbank Inc., Look Music and Ted Good Music.
Festival Stage is located on the grounds of the Brandon Riverbank Discovery Centre.
