Often students feel overwhelmed – from organizing their ideas and information\, getting their words on the page\, to revising and editing for an insightful\, clear\, and polished paper. \nIn this 30-minute session\, Student Accessibility Specialists will explore ways that students can use the Read&Write tool\, paired with a stages for writing framework\, to help navigate these challenges. \nRead&Write is a versatile literacy support toolbar that helps students read\, write\, study\, and research with confidence. More specifically\, the Read&Write toolbar has the potential to help students: \n\nHighlight and export key points from readings and placing these into a structured outline\nBrainstorm and capture ideas and information with sticky notes and other annotation tools\nWeave key terms into your writing by building a vocabulary list and using the dictionary features\n Proofread using speech-to-text\, grammar check\, and word prediction\n\nIt works with websites\, PDFs\, and Brandon University platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Office 365 web apps.
