DESCRIPTION:All Black-African Students are invited to attend an exciting event to mark the 2026 Black History Month celebrations in Brandon. \nOrganized by the Loy Excellentia Initiative\, there will be music performances\, free foods and drinks\, fun activities\, door prices/gifts and more. Let’s come together to celebrate our culture\, community\, and excellence! BU professor Dr. Balfour Spence will be keynote speaker at the event\, speaking on “Unravelling Black History in Canada: Acknowledging the Past and Mentoring the Future.” \nRegister online at https://forms.gle/Pfqt57tFaa9SesE87 \nRegistration ends on February 7 and more details will be shared upon registration.
