DESCRIPTION:Brandon University’s School of Music is thrilled to host a special last-minute opportunity for local music fans — a solo piano performance by Mike Boguski\, the acclaimed keyboardist of Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees Blue Rodeo in the Lorne Watson Recital Hall.  \nBoguski has been a cornerstone of Blue Rodeo’s sound since 2009\, helping shape the band’s evolution while honouring its Canadian roots rock legacy. Beyond his work with Blue Rodeo\, he has built an impressive solo career that blends rock\, jazz\, and improvisation — from collaborations with Michael Timmins of Cowboy Junkies to his own Mike Boguski Trio. \nThis intimate recital offers a rare chance to experience Boguski’s artistry up close\, performing in the region’s most acoustically stunning venue. \nAdmission is by donation\, with all proceeds supporting local food banks.
