DESCRIPTION:As students prepare for a new academic year\, the Loy Excellentia Initiative is pleased to invite post-secondary students and members of the community to two special events in Brandon this September. DESCRIPTION:Manitoba Innovation and New Technology (MINT) has begun stakeholder engagement activities to gather perspectives on the governance and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI)\, cybersecurity\, and the protection of Manitobans’ data. This engagement will help government better understand where Manitobans expect safeguards\, clarity\, and care. Feedback gathered through these sessions will inform the development of potential policies\, legislation\, and governance frameworks. \nIn August\, MINT will be conducting a regional listening session in Brandon. This session will provide the public with an opportunity to share their perspectives on how Manitoba can ensure the responsible use of AI and better protect data and critical networks and systems. \nFor those who have already participated in a discussion session\, we appreciate your contributions.
