The Brandon University Orchestra, conductor William Gordon.  The program will consist of Verdi's Overture to 'Nabusso'; Bizet's Carmen suite No. 1; Wagner 'Siegfried Idyll' and 'Mozart Symphony 39 in Eb major. St. Matthew's Cathedral, 403-13th Street Admission charge:  Adults $12; Students $10  

Brandon University Concert Choir in performance!  Gems of the choral music repertoire including Pat Carrabré's Promised Land for choir and percussion.  Works by Palestrina, Fauré, Gjeilo, Schafer, Carrabré, under the direction of Andrée Dagenais. Join us as we transition from Advent, Winter Solstice to Christmas with Brandon University Chorale under the direction of Andrée Dagenais and guest the Brandon University Brass Ensemble under the direction of Ed Bach.  Works by Abbie Betinis, J.P. The BU Chorale and Orchestra perform their Spring Concert! The exciting concert features the winners of this year’s concerto competition, student soloists Jaimie Rose and Erik Larson, as well as collaborative works the two ensembles performed on tour across the Westman/Parkland region earlier this term. Spring Concert begins at 8:00 p.m. with a reception to follow — all are invited!
