Brandon University Clarinet Festival with concerts, workshops and masterclasses. Catherine Wood, Director.

We’re celebrating 10 years of the Brandon University Clarinet Festival on February 29th and March 1st, 2020! Register by Feb. 1st and receive a free premium commemorative swab. In honour of this anniversary we have a star-packed line up of guests: Buffet artists Franklin Cohen (Cleveland Orchestra emeritus, CIM) and André Moisan  (Montreal Symphony, UdeM); award-winning entrepreneur and business owner Lisa Canning (Lisa’s Clarinet Shop, SeriO); Vandoren artist and blogger Jenny Maclay (Jenny Clarinet); St. John’s repair expert Ed Machado; and BU faculty workshop presenters Sarah Hall (voice), Greg Gatien (jazz), Wendy McCallum (conductor), Cathy Wood (clarinet, Festival Director).

Great PD opportunity for musicians of all ages! The festival events include:

  • Masterclass, Workshops, and Classes
  • Mass Festival Clarinet Choir for all participants (all levels)
  • Concerts featuring clarinet choirs and guest artists
  • Buffet Crampon and St. John’s Music
  • Free repairs and prize draws!

All events take place at Brandon University School of Music.
