Hear some of the exciting research being done by graduate students at BU — in just three minutes apiece.

Like a cross between a TED Talk and speed-dating, the Three-Minute Thesis brings BU students in a Masters program up on stage to describe their research in an accessible, understandable way. Each presentation is limited to a single slide, no props, and a strict three-minute time limit.

It’s exciting, it’s engaging, and you’re invited to learn more about the great stories behind the incredible research that’s happening right here in Brandon.

The best presentation, as selected by our panel of judges, will go on to the regional 3MT competition in Edmonton.

All members of the public are encouraged to attend. There is no charge.

Brandon University is committed to being an accessible institution. To ensure that any event is available to all who are interested in attending, please advise us in advance of any accessibility considerations. Accessibility contact: communications@brandonu.ca
