Ensemble Made in Canada Trey Lee The programme is comprised of commissioned works by 14 Canadian composers, from all parts of the country.  This quartet, named Ensemble Made in Canada, is presenting its biggest venture to date – The Mosaïque Project – across the country. The programme includes Beethoven's ‘Cello Sonata in A Major, Op. 69. School of Music alumni and spouses Yuri Hooker and Michelle Mourre are active in Winnipeg’s music community. Yuri is the principal  ‘cellist of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and is also an avid chamber musician, while Michelle is an award-winning orchestral conductor and collaborative pianist. Jeremy Dutcher The programme will include tracks from Dutcher’s groundbreaking recording entitled Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa.  A trained operatic tenor, Toronto-based Jeremy Dutcher’s creative approach to writing morphs from classical to jazz, through contemporary and traditional elements.
