🎆 Canada Day Fireworks and Astronomical Observing
Using a solar filter to look at the sun through a BU telescope. We have limited space, an amazing view, and an infinite sky. Join us for our annual Canada Day Observing from Brandon University's Astronomical Observatory where we will observe four or more planets! The telescope in the observatory has recently been fully cleaned, and the rooftop deck has been rebuilt, adding new space. Guests are welcome to bring their own cameras. It's best to arrive for your observing period a little early. Please meet us at the Ancillary Service office, on the main floor of McMaster Hall. The closest and easiest entrance is through the glass link between Darrach Hall and Harvest Hall (cafeteria). There is parking in Lot #4, on the 300 block of 20th Street.
