A visiting scholar at Brandon University will present a public talk about the ongoing fires in the Brazilian Amazon forest. Luiz Henrique Eloy is a Ph.D. candidate in Social Anthropology, National Museum, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and is a Brandon University 2019 ELAP Visiting Doctoral Student Luiz Henrique is a Terena Indigenous doctoral student and his topic of presentation will be “Indigenous Peoples and Land Conflicts in the Brazilian Amazon”.
