The Brandon University Politics Society presents ‘How Inciteful,’ an online speakers series featuring reflections on Trump’s interdisciplinary impacts on academia.
This three-week series runs Tuesday evening from 7–8 p.m., starting Tuesday, Jan. 19, continuing Tuesday, Jan. 26, and concluding Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Presentations will feature contributions from the departments of Gender and Women’s Studies, Political Science, Sociology, English and Creative Writing, Philosophy, Biology, and Music. Following the presentations will be time for a short audience Q-and-A.
Tuesday, Jan. 19 lineup:
- BU President Dr. David Docherty, Political Science — Transitions of Government
- Dr. Corinne Mason, Gender and Women’s Studies — Intersections of Sexuality, Gender, and Race, Centring Anti-carceral Activism
- Dr. Reinhold Kramer, English and Creative Writing — Trump’s Brand of Truth and Its Emotional Cogency
